Friends, today we will talk about the ATM hacking happening in the country, yes RBI asked banks to make ATM Secure but despite the bank is not paying attention, it is cheating and  ATM Hacks are being made and  the cards are being Skimmed Money is disappearing from the account. Because of this, the RBI once again pointed out banks that ATM Secure should be done as they are still running in old software. So this is the second time the RBI has given the warning.And RBI has said that install Anti-Skimming Device and install White-Listing solution for Lo Cash Machines. And it should be done until 2019 or banks may have to face the Supervisory Enforcement Action.


And those who are fraudulent are cloning the debit card and doing transactions outside of India, therefore, do not get caught.

Now as the days of such incidents occur, so we can now have to do with Digital Transactions too carefully. Also, the question arises that we have to keep our money safe. Because in July last year, the RBI gave guidelines on unauthorized e-banking.

What is ATM Skimmers?

ATM Skimmers This is an add-on device that frauders place on Cash Machine's Card Slot. And the Maganetic Stripe above this Device Card reads all the information that he has. After that, they clone the card.

Banks are now asked to install Anti-Skimming Device. This Device sends Signal when anything goes wrong. And White-Listing "Solution will only allow Trusted Applications to work in ATM, and the rest will block applications.

RBI has shown red flag for the banks whose machines are upgraded from Unsupported Windows XP and their progress is slow. And RBI is quite serious about this subject.Now when the bank does nothing, you will have to protect your money yourself. So you can:

Type of Fraud: If the Fraud is due to the bank's ignore, then the customer is not responsible for it, it is clear. What you should do ? : -
Firstly activate Email Alert and SMS Alert Service from the bank. Secondly, if the money is debited from your bank account, then tell the bank within 3 days.

Type of Fraud: If you have an incorrect debit in Fraud or account due to your mistake, then it will be your responsibility.
